Description: Inosine and Sodium Chloride Injection is colorless transparent liquid. Inosine is the main Ingredient of Inosine and Sodium Chloride Injection. Its chemical name is 9-[(2R,3R,4S,5R) -3,4-dihydroxy-5-(hydroxymethyl)oxolan-2-yl]-6,9-dihydro-3H-purin-6-one. Inosine is a nucleoside (a building block for DNA and RNA) found in muscle tissue. Inosine is used by athletes and those who want to improve performance. Inosine and Sodium Chloride Injection is indicated to treat a variety of autoimmune diseases ( for ex. Wegener’s granulomatosis). It can also be used to treat leukopenia or thrombocytopenia, all kinds of acute and chronic liver disease, pulmonary heart disease and other heart diseases.

Pharmacological effects: Inosine is a nucleoside that is formed when hypoxanthine is attached to a ribose ring (also known as a ribofuranose) via a β-N9-glycosidic bond. Inosine is commonly found in tRNAs and is essential for proper translation of the genetic code in wobble base pairs. Purine nucleoside phosphorylase intraconverts inosine and hypoxanthine. Inosine is also an intermediate in a chain of purine nucleotides reactions required for muscle movements.
